Hilary Smith, MSPH, is a Research Epidemiologist/Project Manager in the Pharmacoepidemiology and Risk Management group with RTI-HS. Ms. Smith has over 10 years of experience managing public health projects and research teams. Her experience in project management includes coordinating international collaborative projects, such as her most recent position as the project manager for a phase 2/3 clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of the study drug versus standard of care to treat soil transmitted helminths in 3 trial sites in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Mozambique. In addition to project management and research experience, Ms. Smith has worked on projects focused on the prevention of non-communicable diseases in Myanmar and coordinating an office-based substance use disorder treatment program in Boston, Massachusetts.
