Mike Tanner is a Director of Business Development at RTI-HS, where he provides business development and customer relationship management expertise for the entire RTI HS services portfolio. Mr. Tanner has served in a business development role for various life science consultancy companies, such as UnitedHealthcare, GE Healthcare, IMS Health, Truven Health Analytics, and most recently the Mapi Group. He has a wide range of experience in customer relationships, people management, sales, marketing support, clinical trials, claims databases, and product safety. Mr. Tanner began his life sciences career in 1991 as a pharmaceutical representative with Lederle Laboratories. During his 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Tanner was promoted to levels of increasing responsibility.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Tanner has held roles as the Director of Business Development at GE Healthcare in its Clinical Data Services group, UnitedHealthcare's i3 Drug Safety division, IMS Health, Truven Health Analytics, and the Mapi Group, assisting pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies to develop real-world evidence solutions and strategy development.
