Chad L. Kifalme (formerly Downey), CCRP, is an Associate Director and Senior Clinical Research Associate in the Projects and Proposal Operations Division of RTI-HS. Mr. Kifalme has played a project management and monitoring leadership role in a number of clinical and patient centered outcomes research therapeutic areas, including hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, hemophilia, urticaria, malignant glioma, urothelial carcinoma borderline personality disorder, colorectal cancer, muscular dystrophy and, HIV prevention. He has experience in project management, clinical trial monitoring, regulatory review, data management, IRB management, Food and Drug Administration regulation and International Conference on Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) guideline application, study form design, and literary authorship and review. He has conducted international training on topics that include the applications of the Belmont Report to research in humans and the challenges of cross-cultural training in clinical research. Mr. Kifalme has received certifications from such entities as the National Institutes of Health, and the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
