John D. Seeger has more than 2 decades of clinical, academic, and industry leadership with multiple significant roles including chief scientific officer for Epidemiology at Optum and assistant professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. In his role at RTI-HS, Dr. Seeger is focused on expanding our portfolio of research that aims to elucidate the safety of drugs and vaccines. Dr. Seeger’s extensive experience in regulatory pharmacoepidemiology serves as a guide to the development, execution, and communication of research that addresses drug and vaccine safety questions that are directly relevant to regulators and also to providers and patients.
Dr. Seeger is an active member, past president, and Fellow of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). He is a coinstructor in the long-running course on propensity scores at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and also coinstructs the course on propensity scores at the ISPE annual meeting.
