Kyle Paret, PhD, is a Senior Research Health Economist at RTI-HS. He has an extensive background in modeling and decision-analysis across various issues, including influenza vaccine allocation, physician/nurse workload, future force development, and government acquisition. During his PhD study, Dr. Paret worked on developing complex models to support decision making under uncertainty in disaster management. His academic research has been presented at various professional conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to joining RTI-HS, he worked for nine years as a civilian in the Department of Defense as an Operations Researcher and Cost Engineer. Dr. Paret has experience in various programming languages (Python, Java, R, Matlab) and simulation software packages (Arena, Anylogic, Netlogo).
