Kate Lothman is a Director of Medical Writing, Editing, and Design Services at RTI-HS, where she leads a team of writers and editors who collaborate with researchers on the development of publications and posters. She has 16 years of experience in medical communications. Ms. Lothman was 2013-2014 president of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) Carolinas Chapter and is an active member of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP). Prior to joining RTI-HS, she was an assistant managing editor in the Books Division of Duke University Press, where she edited academic and trade book manuscripts and oversaw the production, proofreading, and indexing of approximately 25 titles per year.
