Liesl Gildea, MSc, is an Associate Director in the Market Access and Outcomes Strategy group and is based in Manchester, UK. In her current role, Mrs Gildea is involved in primary and secondary research to support the development of evidence-based dossiers, systematic and targeted literature reviews, health technology assessment submissions (including Nordic submissions), and health economics and outcomes research strategies. She has experience in a range of therapy areas, including cardiovascular disease, oncology, coeliac disease, tick-borne encephalitis, bullous pemphigoid, myelofibrosis, psoriasis, respiratory disease, ulcerative colitis, COVID-19, and medical devices. Before joining RTI-HS, Mrs Gildea was a Health Technology Assessment Analyst at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), specialising in the evaluation of medical devices for use in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
